FOREFRONT celebrates 2 years by looking back at Phase 1: Water/Sanitation

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

From our first well in Pallapatla to our most recent one in Morampudi, FOREFRONT is celebrating 2 years of partnering with communities in Phase 1: Clean Water and Sanitation. Thanks to you, 15,000 people in India now have access to clean water. That number will only increase, as will the potential of community members progressing beyond barriers. Today, we look back at the impact of Phase 1 and look to the future of Phase 2: Education.

water: laying the groundwork

By installing water wells, FOREFRONT's partner communities immediately felt the impact. From women and children saving 6 hours a day, to pipelines providing entire schools with clean water, quenching thirst has set the foundation for students to be greater students, and women to achieve more with their time. We are proud to partner with Pallapatla, Rapalle, Koduru, Thallur, and Morampudi.

As water quenched thirst and created vital sustenance through cooking, the difference across villages was the same: potential increased. Each community member was able to move forward with their lives with this issue resolved.

Sanitation: keeping the lead

Beyond drinking water, Nagavenni, a FOREFRONT soap ambassador, said she no longer receiving allergic reactions. Using the soaps to wash her hands and children, her family's health had improved significantly. That impact increased across her village, where 94% had reported increased soap use after we distributed and taught how to make fun, colorful soaps to incentivize hand-washing.

We are committed to not only providing water, but also ensuring that it only does good by keeping it clean.

phase 2: Education

As we celebrate the end of 2 years, we are beyond grateful at the support we've received and progress we've made. We look forward to year 3, where FOREFRONT will continue creating change with education. With bodies that no longer thirst for water or itch because of skin diseases, we hope to see scholars rise up to fulfill the highest of possibilities.
